January, 2020
It is hard to believe that I am already approaching my third off-season at AC but I feel our program is still far from showing the fullest of our potential. The constant drive to improve every day is the cornerstone we all must hold strong too. I want to make sure I am clear on this, it is not about becoming better football players and better fans. It is about becoming better in our personal lives every day, the better people we become the better all areas of our lives will positively benefit. The mission of our program is to build our young men academically, socially, and athletically. It is my job to try and max our young men out in these three areas on a daily basis. That comes with struggle, failure, and most of all productive discomfort! We must push to improve ourselves as individuals, improve our facilities, and any area in our program we know can be made better.
That being said I am very proud of the work already taking place this early in the 2020 year. We have had two very productive senior leadership meetings and our am and pm weight lifting sessions continue to be heavily attended. I’m proud of our current in-season basketball players and wrestlers and hope they are all competing and growing on a daily basis. A-C is a great place to be and I am excited where we will take our program and district this year.
There is no way I could be more proud to be the head football coach of this program, may our efforts continuously show the strength of our will to succeed. REACH HIGHER!
